Even though St. Moritz is really not that big, it is often called an Alpine metropolis, the home of jet set living, numerous luxury hotels, spas and upscale shops. On top of this chic lifestyle, St. Moritz spoils its visitor with over 300 days of sun year-round. You can imagine, that shopping in the streets of St. Moritz feels very exclusive and intimate.

Most of St. Moritz shops line up on either side of the Via Maistra and Via Serlas. The most upscale shops are those located between the 5* hotels Kulm Hotel and Badrutt’s Palace Hotel. There you find boutiques by Jil Sander, Prada, Bulgari and Louis Vuitton but also jewellery stores which present great collections of luxury watches. The town’s largest jeweller is Bucherer.

For souvenir shopping, we recommend the Ettlin Store that sells lots of folkloric crafts, woodcarvings, Swiss costumes and furniture that were all produced in the region. Also the shop Luethi specializes on folkloric ceramics, glassware and textiles.

To shop for your all-time favourite sweet, the chocolaterie Merkur, which is the biggest one in town, will offer you a great selection. Here you’ll get to indulge in fresh chocolate, pralines and truffle.
